Foundry

The Foundry is the core of the decentralized mutual fund. It is a liquidity broker that directs the assets under management ("AUM") in the Foundry wherever the AVTO DAO, or the Manufactorium, decides.

The AUM receives asset injections from the fees of the avtoMATIC yield aggregator platform. We intend to build additional platforms to direct additional revenue streams into the Foundry.

The Foundry provides benefit to the community in the form of dividends, ie, free money. More on this below.

1. Yield Generation

The Foundry stakes its assets (whether in the form of liquidity pair tokens or single tokens) into various protocols and generates yield APY in the form of native emissions of those protocols.

2. Reinvestment Ratio

The Foundry will start off with a 100% reinvestment ratio where it will autocompound the yield APY back into its asset base. In the near term, basic governance functions will be enabled where the Manufactorium can decide the reinvestment ratio. Avto stakers will vote to either "Reinvest" or "Dividend" and the % of tokens that voted for Reinvest will be the Reinvestment Ratio for that month.

3. Dividends

AVTO stakers will receive dividends from the Foundry in the form of daily WMATIC dropped into their wallets. The DAO will decide the reinvestment ratio versus the dividend ratio. Dividends will be paid proportionally into holders' wallets.
